Internet Safety

There are certain needs students have regarding internet safety. For example, the third graders in my class would probably need to be reminded to not give out personal information online even if the person claims to be a peer or a trustworthy adult (i.e. teacher) and to only give certain information if a parent says it is okay to do so (i.e. subscribing to a magazine). There should be filters to block obscene pop-ups. As the students in my class get older and do more research online they will need to learn how to decipher between good resources and not-so-reliable resources.
