It's been a while

Hello! I have not logged onto my blog since May or April. I am so glad I remembered my sign in and password.

Today I am working with a 6th grade girl. I know her because she spends time with my 12 year old sister and we all used to go to the same church.
I am helping her do a book report. From what her mom says the teachers never taught her how to do a report so I am teaching her how to do one. I told her this assignment does not have to be boring, but it can be fun. I wrote out a handout for her to follow so she does not get overwhelmed. Later I will show her my powerpoint on Native American Regions so that if she wants to be more creative with her report she can. Not only will I be helping her strengthen her knowledge of book reports, but I will teach her something about technology.
